8CCD-III Official T-Shirt design contest (Show us your artistic side!)

It's time to design the 8thCivic.com Conquers the Dragon III official t-shirt. This thread is for presenting ideas and getting feedback from your fellow members. We've had great designs from jasonandre in 2006 and Cr8tive_leo in 2007 so I'm really looking forward to see what everyone comes up with this year.





Rules

1. The following elements must be incorporated into the design:

• ”[8thCivic.com logo] Conquers the Dragon III”
• ”Deal’s Gap, NC”
• ”September 4-7, 2008”
• One or more dragons

2. The back of the shirt will feature a design no larger than 10x10 inches while the front of the shirt will have design no larger than 4x4 inches on the wearer’s left chest..

3. The designer of the shirt will be asked at a later time to modify the design for use on the Coolest 8thCivic trophy.

4. The designer of the shirt will allow 8thCivic.com the right to use the winning design in any way associated with the 8thCivic.com Conquers the Dragon events.

5. Final proposals must be emailed to me at cookstar@8thcivic.com no later than March 31, 2008.

6. Final proposals will be voted on during the month of April.

Now I know last year I yaked on and on about it but...

I still really like Adrian's Dragon/Si logo. I'll let him decide whether or not he wants to post or resubmit it, I just had to at least state my opinion.

I'm sure he could freshen it up for this year's meet.

I think that shirt designs need just be emailed to Cookstar, not posted. This way it's a bit more even for everyone. No one gets to see the design, no way of discouraging others to join in, and we won't know who has subbmited until the actual voting begins.

Ooop, you're the first to recognize it! You win a prize! Mmmm.. more beer!

It's an animated led t-shirt with built in speakers on the shoulders to do a low growl of an intake hitting vtaaaakkkk.

Yeha, I'll post some ideas too... feedback is always good.

We're talking with a printer right now and may make an adjustment as to the maximum number of colors. I'll keep everyone informed.
