Silverstars will give you increased lighting, while staying legal, cheaper, and not blinding everyone.
basically you have to go projector to do HID properly.
Im sure you guys can buy some cheap projector headlight assemblies.
if we can get some for <$250 for a cobalt, im damn sure a civic can find them
the thing with projectors is, if you cheap out....your going to affect your own lighting, but you will at least have a cutoff that will keep blinding glare from your fellow motorists eyes.
when you spend money on a retrofit, and go high quality, you still have that nice cutoff, but your lighting will increase.
I would rather see a cheapo set of projectors with HIDs, than just HID in reflectors.
