If you have a multimeter, you can confirm which wire is truly the remote wire. When I did mine, I removed the center console. There will be two harneses. One on the left (smaller) and one on the right. The left has a light blue with a stripe wire. This is the remote on wire.
Again though, make sure to use a multimeter to verify this. Always feels good to know for sure.
