I wouldn't. I have 225 40 18 General UHPs with 18 inch HFPs on my 2007 sedan, and I had some slight rubbing the first 4000 miles over huge bumps, without lowering. After the tires wore in, the rubbing stopped completely. 235 is probably too wide, especially if your'e going to drop it. And, I would make sure you have +45 offset with big tires b/c you have very little room for error. I know other guys have tried different offsets, but the guys at the tire rack told me that small offset changes (more than +or- 2 mm) can increase your chances of rubbing big time. BY THE WAY GUYS... 18 inch HFPs are 18 x 7 NOT 18 x 7.5!!
