This is for a sedan...maybe the generals fit on a coupe.
Also this was with a +42 offset maybe they would fit with a +45 but it did not look like it from where it was rubbing.

I have General Exclaim UHP 225 40 18 on my gg 2007 civic hybrid sedan, on 18 inch HFPs, and I had VERY, VERY slight rubbing only on HUGE bumps for the first 8 weeks, then it went away (maybe I wore the tires down just enough for them to clear the fenders after 4000 miles. I have to recommend these tires, guys, they ride so quiet and comfortable, AND they handle amazing, and are very sticky (great traction). And they are cheap on tire rack!! I do a lot of aggressive NYC driving, and I swear they take bumps so comfortably it is bizzare; I have a WRX STI on 225 45 17s pirelli p zero nero that feels like crap over bumps compared to the Generals. I have +45 offset. I wouldn't drop the car too low at first, though... Wait until the tires break in a little bit!
