metallic tint is usually blamed for bad radio reception (urban legend, placebo effect, i don't know for sure). i believe that it would screw with reception and it would be extra bad for our civics since our antennas are built into the rear window. that being said, if you wanna read more about it, just search on google for metallic tint radio and you'll see a bunch of people compaining about the same thing.
