Thanks to all the killer input from all you guys about wheels, styles, tech advice, etc. I bring you the 2007 Civic hybrid, without the frisbee wheels.... Check out the before and afters... The pictures don't even do it justice!! I am rolling on 18 x 7 HFP wheels, offset +45 with General exclaim UHP 225 40 18. These are the best tires ever; they grip, look hot AND ride quiet- they don't even FEEL like 18's (I have 18s on my STi and they ride like concrete over bumps). I get a VERY slight rub over HUGE bumps only; by experience I can tell you that with such a minor rub, within 3000 miles the wearing of the tires from driving will probably reduce their size enough to eliminate the rub.No rubbing on turns or entering driveways at all. I probably won't drop it, because my hybrid already rides pretty low (done by honda to reduce wind resistance under the fenders for the hybrid). More pics to follow soon. I get pulled over by tuners and honda heads daily to check out the car. This site rocks!! Seriously, the pics don't do it justice; my car looks like sme kind of exotic euro sedan in person with these crazy HFPs. If you were wondering if you should put them on your ex sedan or hybrid, DO IT. And, I only lose about 1-2 mpg, but my handling and traction are 400x better.
