3M tape!
The problem is mostly with the hinge mechanism I believe, where it doesn't allow the door to stay open at the needed angle in order to allow anyone over 3'0" to get in and out, so the door is basically closed or fully open, and anything in between will result in the door closing back on you and aiding you in kicking the cr@P out of the inner panel
