It could be a combination of sprint/summer heat and ethanol. I noticed that most of the dyno results show increases in horsepower in what could be cruising territory for some people. If this is where the horsepower is going up, perhaps you're just gulping more fuel and air at lower rpm. I just took my new 07 SI sedan for a 600 mile outing to Deal's Gap. Regardless of the driving style - I got 28.5 mpg. That's pretty good considering I made my poodle throw up on the Cherahala Skyway...
