I dont see the DVDs as a bad thing cause you have a choice in the matter. You may or may not crash depending on the person. If you crash w/o your seat belt on and/or if the air bag hits you, you have a very high chance of dieing.

I see this as dvds are an in-directly bad idea and disabling and not wearing your seat belt would be a directly bad idea.
