Been a bit since someone posted in this...

My SI is coming in this week and I've already got a Pioneer Avic-Z2 Navi on the way. From what I hear this si the best way to hook up the radio, Simpler, and from what I can tell the posters in this thread actually prefer it over the amp bypass (why it's that way I don't know, with every other car I've owned amp bypass was the best way to do it, but maybe it's because the stock amp is actually powerfull, I donno)

Enough of this drunken babble, I already have the amp bypass harness in the mail but I think I'm going to use this method instead, seeing as it's less wiring, the sound seems to be preferred, and I get to keep the stock sub and tweeters and there's less wiring. (I can later decide if I want to put my JL stuff back in). Only thing is that the level of the stock sub can't be adjusted, so it's like having it on 0 with the stock radio, right??? We'll see if I like it after a while.

Anyone have anything else to add?

thanks!
