Hi all,

Has anybody tried to use the aftermarket Halo projector kit found on ebay with HID bulb put in ? I asked the vendor and they said they don't recommend their customers to use HID with their system but if you really want, do not use higher than 4300 bulb.

Are there any pros and cons with this approach understand that I still need to mount the ballast somewhere like other DIY HID kit requires. Any safty or reliability concerns ? Thanks.
