I'm surprised that I'm not seeing more posts on this.
My '07 has the same issue as described in OP and I wish that's all I had.
Unfortunately, I have a huge rust problem (paint bubbling up) under the rubber gasket right at the top of the corner (the 90 degree corner of the glass frame). And it's on both sides.
I already have 75K miles, so I doubt the rust warranty will cover it.
I'm hoping to fix it myself in the spring because every time I give my car to the body shop, something is F'd up when it comes back.
