It all depends on what part of the Bay Area your office is opening up at. Is it opening up in Downtown San Francisco? Are you willing to commute with your own car? Do you like public transportation?

If you're looking to live in The City, public transportation is highly recommended since they'll chop your arms and legs off for a parking space. If you prefer to drive your own car, well...have fun circling and parking blocks away from where you want to be and have plenty of quarters and good running legs. Quarters will only last you 15 minutes at the meter.

If you're ok with living a little bit out of S.F., I'd recommend maybe living out in Burlingame, or Redwood City. Both are located on the Peninsula and are very close to BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit - which is the Bay's subway system).

If you can afford it, Marin County is nice. San Rafael, Sausalito, Tiberon are all nice areas, but with those area comes HIGH RENT.

PM me if you want more detailed info.
