Great thread, I was just hoping someone could help me out.

I plan on getting rid of the stock sub and amp, how would I hook up an aftermarket HU so my speakers are powered only from the HU? Also has anyone pinpointed the wires needed to hook up the steering wheel control adapter? I want to maintain as many of the factory options as I can.

My other option..if I kept the stock HU and dropped the sub, could I just use an LOC from that wire for my aftermarket amp and still control it from the HU? Also would it be powered from the amp then go into my aftermarket amp..what would that do?
