Actually, It held up pretty well considering it got ran over by random cars for about half an hour before I found it. You can see it ****** up the clear coat pretty bad, but the aluminum held up great. I don't have pics of the back side, but it's flawless. If only it landed right side up, I could've still used it
The reason it flew off was because I attached it using regular nuts right before HIN. Since I'm using a reverse bolt-on design and since it's on a carbon fiber trunk, they need to be nylock nuts. I went out and bought some yesterday. I'm currently working on an even more badass license plate. :) Yoo-hoo speed ftw. I'm thinking big chrome flames with the mud flap chick on each side.
