By the way the intake sounds great. I thought it would be 20-30% louder but it's at least 100% louder than the stock intake. I did have a question for some of the other K&N owners. If I ease into the throttle it sounds pretty much stock, if I stomp on the throttle it roars, but if I give it a normal amount of gas it has kind of a weird tin like metallic kind of sound that could either be the sound of the intake starting to suck or something rattling. I already loosened all of the mounting brackets and attempted to pull it towards the front of the car, and tightened it back down but it sounds the same. It does NOT make the sound when I'm parked, only when I'm moving. It seems to be most noticeable between about 2800-4000RPMs. Above that it starts roaring and drowning it out, below that it isn't noticeable. I think this might just be the sound of the intake but the others having problems rubbing on the brake line got me worrying that I might be running into that. It's pretty much impossible for me to confirm whether it's rubbing on the brake lines or not. I also took videos of VTAKking with and without the intake for others to compare, but haven't had a chance to post them yet. By the way, how do you embed a video?
Simply create a free youtube account on youtube.com and upload it. It will give you an embed link on the video that you uploaded.
