Finally got the HIR's in and installed. In the midst of installing the lights I didn't realize that the there is a removable cap on the back of these bulbs. One of the caps on the back of the light popped off and fell into la la land where I can't even find it now.
Will this hurt anything if the cap is never found and just left off. It appears behind the cap there is some kind of silicone sealant so it would seem everything should still be water tight. Will this reduce the life of the bulb?
p.s. Just looking for some reassurance....
