Personally I would never buy a PnP (Plug and Play) HID kit and install it into a Halogen headlight housing whether its a reflective housing or a Halogen projector.

Not only is it technically illegal but your beam pattern would be horrible and you would most likely be blinding a majority of oncoming traffic with the glare you would be producing.

And if you are set on buying a PnP kit atleast buy one of decent quality, please don't buy the $150 special, you would honestly be better off buying a different set of halogen bulbs for your car. Honestly it won't last long at all and if a bulb blows on it or anything goes wrong with it the whole kit is basically garbage, you can't buy replacement parts for crappy kits.

If you want to educate yourself on HID lighting and possibly look into doing it the right way and doing a retrofit, I recommend checking out HIDplanet.com's forums.
