Americans always had such a better selection that in Canada. We had about half of those cereals, maybe more. Of course all the ones from GM, Kellog's, Post, etc.

My family used to eat sugar cereals all the time, but we were never allowed marshmellow one. Man it was fun going to camp and getting to try those!. Great memories.

Although you forgot fruit loops. Wasn't that created in the 80s? It certainly fit the genre. I used to get that all the time in first year undergrad :P
