I wish our shipping was less as well. Since we ship from Canada, our shipping rates are higher because UPS incorporates the cost of customs brokerage and customs documentation as well. We have tried regular mail, however the results are usually unacceptable. Shipping regular mail from Canada to the US usually takes so long that our customers become very irate. UPS has proven to be the most cost effective and reliable from Canada so far (and we have used many different companies over the years
