Gas milage wise, I've been getting 27.4 mpg combined with the new kit. I can't complain with the governments rating of 23 city. So far I've run 3 full tanks through with it, about the same whether I am driving spirited or conservatively in 6th most of the time. I am sure over time the Si's computer will adjust.
My only complaint so far with this new kit after a month is how my Si's throttle gets cranky when its below freezing outside. I think the stock intake optimized the air for cold mornings.
All-in-all, I'm still happy with it. One of the best quality ones on the market.

Did you guys ever end up doing the washer idea or not? Did the rattles just go away? I just ordered my Typhoon tonight!!!
I want to know whether or not I need to pick up these washers prior to attempting my install, if that really helps kill any potential rattles. By the way, great DIY write up dowNNshift!
