Just a reference: As those who own and use a Scangauge know, it is VERY possible to get well over 30MPG with the Si in mixed driving, IF, IF, IF, you are aware of your acceleration patterns, gear to speed mixes, and you have a great deal of patience. Frankly, a flat length of road in TX or OK running 50 MPH in 6th gear (using Cruise control) will yield a mid-40MPG average.
That said, actually surviving the experience of driving in such an octogenarian manner will probably cause an aneurysm.
