Brake off, put in first or reverse, and crank until the car gets off the road. Probably burn up the starter, but better than getting hit on the road. If I thought I wanted to keep this long term, I'd put in a bypass switch.

Dude..are you serious? That's what neutral is for. Put car in neutral open door, step out and push off road with hand on steering wheel. Done. I've pushed my work truck off of the road by myself before with an 18 trailer behind it.
