UPDATE!!!!!!!
I had a chat with PW:JDM to clear up confusion with all the "issues" regarding this intake. This conversation should clear things up and make people stop over reacting.

PWJDM Rep (1:34:28 PM): Brad know more about than I do, but I think the problem was due to the position of the breather tube.
PWJDM Rep (1:34:48 PM): 8th gen didn't like where it was routed.
