I can almost rest assure you that this is done by adding braces (bolt-on) to the Civic chassis. Give it a little time and we will find out all the differences between the Non-Type R and the Type R. I thing everything will be "bolt-on" so we can convert ours over. I am looking forward to it.

Knowing the way Honda rolls.... I totally agree with this statement here. I'm sure the parts will be ridiculously expensive though. One thing that we'll never be able to reproduce easily is the engine. The CR is 11.7/1.... which is most likely why we can't have one in the states... our fuel is crap and not sufficient enough. Remember in Japan they use 100 RON, which is ~96octane. We have nothing more than 93 if you're lucky and live in the east. Poor guys out west only get 91 pee-water!
