My current track car is a 95 Mustang GT with a bunch of track stuff but I'm itching to see how my stock Si does on the track. I'll be getting Falken RT-615s mounted soon and I also need to install the Carbotech street/track brake pads that I recently received. Other than the tires and brake pads my car will be stock as a rock.

On a related note, I was at WSIR in February for a NASA event (with the Mustang) and a guy in my group (HPDE 3) had a blue 06 or 07 Si. He was doing pretty well with it and was one of the fastest in the group. I think his only mods were aftermarket rims and tires.
my setup was stock... i curious to see what the si lacked and so there would be lots of room for modifications to suit the weaknesses tried and tested. i recommend changing the brake fluid to ate super blue racing fluid.

i would wait to modify your si's suspension or engine until after you've gone to the track stock.

i currently am waiting on my lazy self to install the camber kits and brake upgrades. i purchased a front lx sway bar to replace the beefier si sway bar to help corner exiting speed and i am picking up my rear progress sway bar next week. my next track date i will hopefully have my camber kits installed with a good alignment, brakes upgraded, sway bars changed and my intake installed. i plan on doing hondata and springs/shocks when available.
