I like smoked tails, some peopple think it's vulgar, stock is good too. It's personal preference and taste, I think a tint on thos ewould look nice. Not a dark tint, just a darkening tint. Again, it's own personal taste. That pic is in a shadow, it looks like it's already tinted *grins*
You go as dark as you want. I just did two coats of tint, I've seen some on here that look way darker. I also used Testor paint, not Tamiya (testor was $2 cheaper here than Tamiya, and Tamiya wasn't in stock, I prefer Tamiya)
Clear coat, at leaast two, let dry for 5days before you apply a third coat. (why, shrugs, just to let it dry properly I think)
