Wow...here we go again.
let's stop this dead in it's tracks:
This is a pretty generic statement, but for the most part is true:
Capacitors are good for rock, but no so much for most hip-hop.
Reasoning:
The capacitor has time to charge itself back up between heavy bass notes on rock. Most rock songs are a simple *thump, thump, thump* beat.
However, alot of rap (and non-rap as well) have bass-drawing songs. Like, *thuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudddddd, thuuuuuuuuuuuuudddd*. Think of Young Jeezy tracks. Some of those will draw out a bass note for a very long time. How can your capacitor recover from that?...it can't. So, instead of charging back up for the next round, the capacitor stays empty and you're now back where you started; the battery via the alternator.
Oh, and your alternator charges up your capacitor, your battery doesn't.
