This is yet another dosage of "whats real american" now. Seems like the large trend is that "american" manufacturers have steadily been sliding down the last 15 years (aside from trucks) and moving out of the US becoming anything but "american"; while all these "Japanese" manufacturers are building new plants and hiring workers that were previously laid off.

What is an "American" brand of automobile nowadays?
I personally love the idea of Japanese technology assembled by Americans (or even Canadians... Since lots of Honda's have been coming from Canada for over a decade now).
