My 2 Cents
I'm a new member. Just bought my Si yesterday. I have been reading some of the conversations in this thread and wanted to add some stuff. First, I have installed HID conversion kits on my previous three vehicles. (2001 BMW 328, 2004 Civic Coupe, and 2006 Nissan Frontier). All three used different bulbs and the Frontier had dual hi/lo beams. So, I have some experience with these kits and figuring out the best ways to make them work. I took out the kit from my Frontier to put in my Si, and I also kept the 9006 bulbs that I used in my '04 Civic.
My first impression is that this tutorial is much more complicated than it needs to be. The only thing a novice needs to know is how to replace the stock low beam bulbs. First of all, there are decent instructions in the owners manual. You just pull back the plastic in the front wheel wells and that gives you access to the low beams. The rest of the work is finding good places to mount the ballasts and the ignitors on either side of the car.
All in all, it doesn't really matter how you decide to do it, I just thought I would suggest a way that might be a little quicker. I have some good experience installing these kits, and through trial and error I have become pretty efficient. Feel free to ask me any questions regarding install or even general questions about HID kits.
