IMO, I can barely hear vtec engage. With the DCRH, catback, and CAI, the engagement was as loud as most of the upper end B series stuff. With the reflash, you CAN hear it but I would have to say 1/5th as loud as prior to the hondata reflash. The only reason I pointed that out, was to some people that may be a negative. To those that thirst for power it is a positive.

One thing I don't want people to get confused with, is that I am saying that the Hondata reflash doesn't do anything, or isn't worth the money, or makes any part of the Si's performance less impressive. It is really hard to portray what I am saying without showing you in person a before and after. The vtec engagement being quieter is a good thing, but it takes away most of the aggressive sound most DOHC vtec/i-vtec fans love.

Bottom line is, I am very pleased with Hondata. The car is much quicker, and pulls very strong much earlier in the power band. I will miss the loud engagement of the larger cam (ricer in me haha), but to me the small sacrifice is very much well worth it!
