Question for you guys. I'm working on an 09 LX that already has the AUX input from the factory. I am installing an aftermarket headunit. It's a Pioneer 6900 I believe. It has a 3.5mm audio input jack in the REAR of the unit. I want to plug a 3.5mm cable into that jack and then cut the tip off the other end and wire it into the factory AUX in port to give the dash a clean look. Yes I realize I will need a second cable to plug into the port, but that's not the point. I really won't even be using the feature, as it also has a dedicated iPod connection. But I'd like to retain that port if possible. It's already there, mise well work.
The problem I have is that the connector that is on the rear of the factory AUX in is not the white 6 pin that is posted on here. It's a green 5 pin. Any ideas which wire is which?
