Yea however I think that this mod alone will not net any real power gains but paired with P2R TB spacer + Gaskets and Intake Manifold Gasket I can see how that would drop Intake Air temperatures for longer periods of time instead of power being lost after the motor heats up and heats everything else up. That might net some power gains.

Engine heat heating everything up is why people at the track turn their cars off and push their cars all the way till they are almost at staging before they turn their cars on cause sitting at idle will heat up the entire engine bay. (including intake pipe/ manifold/ Throttle body)

It is also track proven that cold air helps with better times too. When people get their best 1/4 mile times 1/8 mile times it's always when it's coldest. So cold air and cold intake air temps must have something to do with that. That's just why i did this mod cause i'm also doing IMG and TB spacer/gaskets and I want my intake air temps low for better 1/8 mile times ^^
