i had the Stoptech BBK on my previous car, absolutely loved the balanced feel. what i didn't like was the quick wear-down and the bed-in process to seat the brakes (with each swap of the rotors/pads). to the OP: you know the slotted/drilled rotors aren't resurfaceable and needs to be changed much more frequently than the OEM rotors/pads? don't get me wrong, i'd do Stoptech all over again, but unless you're doing frequent track events, you could get awesome street performance from some Hawks/EBC pads!
btw, i've heard of AEM kits warping/poor performance. one of my friends has the Wilwood kit @ his EP/track car, and he can't say enough good stuff about it...Brembo's/Rotora's i don't have a clue-
