Arrow DIY: SS clutch line

Here is a DIY on changing the oem clutch line to a stainless steel braided.

tools used:
8mm wrench
10mm wrench
12mm ratch or impact gun
17mm wrench
flat head screw driver
piece of hose maybe about 1 foot long

1.first thing you want to do is remove your battey and platic peice under the battery.
2.remove the battery bracket, there are 4 12mm bolts holding it. 2 on top and 2 on the bottom holding it up.
3.heres a picture of what you'll be working with.

4.now you want to extract all clutch fluid as possible, i opened the bleeder with the 8mm wrench and had my asistant pump the clutch fluid out, next remove the resevior cap, and extract fluids from there aswell.

5.with a 10mm wrench, break loose the 2 bolts going into the line. dont remove them just yet!

6.with the 2 10mm bolts loosened... with a flat head screw driver, pull out the 2 clips holding the line, you will need some force.

7.after pulling out the clips, you can unscrew the 10mm bolts.

8.comparison of both items.

9.work the new SS clutch line in...place into the clip holders.

10.slide clips back in

11.screw in the 10mm bolts into the SS clutch line.when tighting the 2 10mm bolts, use the 17mm wrench to hold the SS line from turing.

over all the install was easier than i thought....took maybe about an hour tops to fully complete the install(includes bleeding)

here is the DIY on bleeding your clutch.
