However, id venture to say that the rules for breaking pads in differs from company to company. I know by experience that my break pads do, in fact, need to be broken in a specific way or else they will not preform correctly.

However, thats with my carbon kevlar track pads. I am assuming your pads are street pads. So its a different compound. If I were you, I would call the company that made your pad, and ask them directly. I would say thats the best thing to do.
