so i have been thinking about getting my windows tinted ,even though i am from upstate ny and our laws are ridiculous, and i really wanted some good quality tint.

Does anyone have any experience with the quality of the product? I was quoted for $299 for my sedan with all windows tinted at 35%. I might even consider the 50%. I am not doing this for pure aesthetics, it's more about the benefits that tint does offer and i plan on keeping my car for a while.
