if they dont blame it on improper oil, they will blame it on hyrdolock. no, it does not have ot be raining at the time to hydrolock. if water ever got into the engine, it could have slightly damaged the engine, evntually causing failure. <-happened to a friend. his engine was NOT paid for by HOA.

thats crappy.
thats what i was thinking though maybe water entered the engine somehow and over time destroyed the motor
