Ok, just an update for anyone still doing this.......I've had my setup for a while now and I just used the LOC and connected it to the stock sub and I can control the bass from stock HU and the amp turns off when the car turns off or when I turn off the radio. I really don't see any fuss about it anymore. I have had ZERO problems! One thing that I did do for the remote wire was go to autozone and buy the "fuse link/fuse piggyback", it was like $1 or something like that and attached it to the #35 fuse.....located at the driver side left foot, you'll have to move your seat all the way back to lay down on your back to see it. "So easy a caveman can do it"......LOL, PM me if you need help, anyone.
