edit-
we had it working for a few hours., than as i powered the car off there was a hum from thesubs. now i tried to turn the subs back on and no go. music plays amp is on. get .2volts from the speaker outs from the amp. subs = no go. we used KNOWN good subs from my friends car and even his subs didnt work. no fuses are busted line out converter hooked up properly. any ideas guys?
My friend was installing an amp and subs for me and he accidentally snipped the antenna wire, we thought, oh no big deal, until we tried to connect the two wires together.
there were copper strands and then there was this thin plastic rod inside, looks like a fiber optic cable?
now there is nothing but static and only receives actual FM / AM radio signals only if someone touches it and squeezes it.
is there a way to reconnect this or do i have to just replace it
the next issue!
i have two 12'' hifonics subs, hooked up to a CRUNCH 1kwatt amp.
both won't hit at the same time hooked up as Stereo. They both hit in mono., but they do work.... they are in a 2-12'' enclosure hooked up correctly.
Amp = crunch PZi250.2
Subs = HF112D4
hooked up as parallel, settings are on FULL, STEREO.
if you guys could be so kind as to answer
1. the issue with the antenna wire, which we also used as the remote to hook up the subs
2. how only one sub hits at a time.
3. and why it only hits as im on the gas and when i let off it stops hitting
