Interesting. First time I've heard of a coolant leak there. How many miles on your Si?

Did you notice any corrosion or calcification on the oil cooler inlet or outlet pipes when you removed the leaking hose? If so, perhaps the hose is not sealing against the pipe properly. Or, perhaps the oil cooler o-ring is leaking and it's flowing onto the hose when driving. I don't see how the same hose can be the problem after you just replaced it.

Just so everyone knows, the oil cooler is where the oil filter goes (on the Si).
