Tranny Fluid Change... Not heavy enough? UPDATE: HONDA SUCKS AT REBUILDING TRANS

I was experiencing problems with my transmission going into 2nd gear with 20k miles on it so i decided to change to synthetic fluid. It seemed to help others with their 3rd gear problems. Anyway, i got AMSOIL 5W-30 Syncromesh manual transmission fluid and put it in. The trans felt liquid smooth for the first 200 or so miles. No grinding issues with 2nd. After a while, it started feeling sloppy when shifting again. It feels like the syncros are not working correctly. Do you guys think its a possibility that the fluid is just too light? It might have thinned out even more after driving it alot. I put 70 miles on my car every day, i'm sick of my tranny acting up for no apparent reason. Suggestions?

Update:

I took it to the Honda dealer last week and surprisingly, they agreed to 'fix' the transmission under warranty! He said i have to pay a $200 deductible, but that covers everything. He said they are going to rebuild it and seemed very calm and confident about what the issue was. I'll let everyone know how it goes, im taking it in next monday.
