I guess it depends on what you think harsh is. A person that is used to riding in luxury cars like big old Cadillacs would definitely call it harsh. I call it heaven.
Like maximus20895 said, the stiffer suspension = less body movement over bumps. If you open a can of soda and put it in the cup holder in the center console and went over a bump with the stock suspension, no soda would splash out. If you did this with the HFP kit, soda would splash everywhere.
Personally, I LOVE IT! I've always owned smaller cars because I hate the floaty feeling of bigger cars. I dont want to feel like im driving a couch, I want to feel connected to the road.
