There is really no danger in boosting these motors up to 16psi even. What you need to make sure of is that your turbo is efficient flow wise. You need a good flowing exhaust and turbo that will keep your cylinder pressures and backpressures in check. Those are the big killers at the higher boost levels. Like the GReddy turbo is NOT very efficient at all. So your pressures will be a little on the high side at the higher boost pressures. But with a good flowing manifold and turbo and exhaust and a spot on tune you can run 16psi+ all day on these motors. There are RSX guys running 16psi+ with well over 400whp for years with their Full-Race kits and Kpro.
