I have 600 miles on my si sedan and i checked the mileage the other day. I kept revs below 4000, I drove normal accelerating with normal traffic. Did not floor it even 1 time. Obeyed the speed limits most of the time. The result: 33.15 mpg in city. The a/c was not on much. I was in light stop and go traffic for 10-15 minutes. I filled up, drove for 52 miles ( I can't keep my foot out long) and filled up again. I feel I could attain the same or close maybe around 30mpg if i keep driving like a wuss. Yea I'm gonna do that....right. But anyway, i just wanted to know how good it was capable of. I have noticed full throttle runs use alot of fuel. I did the same thing a few days before but I made 2 0-80 mph runs and I raced a z28 and I got 26mpg. Went the same distance and same city driving.
