Bought an 2009 Civic (my bad it's a DX) but I was still suprized to find it had no under covers

The wify's 2006 Civic LX has three! so I poked around under there to see just what was needed
I decided to just install 2 out of the 3.

Oh ~ all info here is use at your own risk...

First cover; left middle that protects the fuel pump bits and pieces, smooths out the under side and
helps keep out snow (yes Canada) and other crap that will at some point kick up from the road.

Second cover; it goes from the rear suspension mount to the rear bumper cover,
it's more for air flow imo helping with fuel economy and could shave some second off your track time.

parts list is broken down by cover and the required bolts and clips;

L MIDDLE FLOOR (LOWER) 74626-SNE-A00 $17.40 cnd (includes 2 clips)
CLIP, BUMPER 90505-S9A-003 $1.50 cnd x4
BOLT, BUMPER 90149-SAO-003 $2.50cnd x2

RR FLOOR (LOWER) 74625-SNE-A00 $17.70 cnd
CLIP, BUMPER 90505-S9A-003 $1.50 cnd x1
BOLT, BUMPER 90149-SAO-003 $2.50cnd x3

just a side note the 06 covers were 3x the price from the deal.

RR FLOOR cover install is straight forward
(I did this one first as the parts person ordered all bolts and no clips)

tools
flat head screw driver
wrench (its metric, can't remember the size and will update)

1. use the flat head to remove the two clips in the lower rear bumper cover
2. the under cover has a hole in it for the rear tow point to poke out of, you must lightly pull the rear bumper cover down to fit the under cover between it and mounting holes.
3. once the under cover is situated (making sure it's on the correct side of the exhaust heat shield),
put in the two forward bolts hand tight at the suspension cross member, the third bolt on the drives side close to the wheel well.
4. at the back, line up the bumper cover and under cover with the holes and snap in the clips,
the third clip goes on the drives side close to the rear.
5. now tighten the bolts you put in hand tight and your done

Rear under cover impressions are good,
rear end noise is down (no db reading) I put on 120Km today and noticed a difference.
as well there was a little vibration coming from the back end as I hit the apex of the same hill for the last two weeks at about 120kph, I figured it was a cross wind (only 2000km on the car) anyway there was no vibration today with the cover on, just a little wind push..

That is it for now pictures are coming and when the clips are in I'll write up the other under cover.
