To Sin, Bleached hit the nail on the head. This problem is as far as I know unique to the 8th gen civic application.

Sad news because I had already bought front shocks and konis before I found out about the GC problem. Didn't want to have to sell at a loss and then buy something more expensive than I had originally intended to spend.

Oh well seems Redshift might be my only option, time to start saving.
