I've heard in the past, probably on this board, that the strut braces and tie bars are useless on our cars because of the already stiff frames compared to previous generations of Civics. Is this really true?

I don't wanna spend $120 USD on something unless I will benefit from it from a performance standpoint (at auto-x especially).
