I've been installing remote starters for 8 years, and have a pretty good handle on it.

What happens when someone else drives your car and leaves it in gear with no e-brake? When you remote start it, the car WILL move far enough to hurt something or someone. Guess who's paying those medical bills?

If you really insist on being able to start the car without the clutch, install a momentary push-button on the dash somewhere that shorts those two wires together.

Paperclips belong on your desk, not your car's circuitry.
Don't know about you, but no one else drives my baby, and if you let someone else drive you car and they hurt someone, it's your fault for letting them drive it.

I've had 4 or 5 people ask me if I could drive it. My answer... "Hellz no!" haha, my dad is the only other person lucky enough to drive it, but only because it was necessary. I still think this is a nice diy, only because it's reversible. Can't beat that.
